Pavitra Patel, MD
Dr. Pavitra Patel completed her undergraduate at the University of Toronto and received her Bachelors in Biotechnology and Genetics. She attended medical school at All Saints University School of Medicine, completed her residency in Family Medicine at Atlanta Medical Center in 2016, and her Fellowship in Geriatrics at Emory University School of Medicine in 2016.
Dr. Patel has training in treating the elderly with an interest in memory care, particularly Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She has a particular interest in Geriatrics and chose to become a physician because she enjoys the intellectual challenge, helping others, and making long lasting relationships with her patients. She loves making patients feel heard and that she helps them make changes to better their health and quality of life.
Dr. Patel is from Toronto, Canada and came to the United States to pursue medicine. She moved to Colorado after meeting her husband, and they now have a son. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, running, yoga, painting, baking, and spending time with family and friends. A fun fact about Dr. Patel is that she went to Machu Picchu in 2011 and did the Sun Gate hike.
