Independent Living

Independent Living facilities are housing arrangements designed exclusively for older adults, generally those aged 55 and older. Housing may range from apartment-style to single family detached homes. Most of these communities offer amenities, activities, and services for residents that do not require assistance with activities of daily living. Often a campus may include varying levels of living options including both assisted and independent living options.

 

Summit Medical Consultants provides care at some facilities which include both assisted and independent living housing. For either assisted or independent living residents, our providers see patients in their own apartments or rooms on-site at our partnering facilities.
